CLUB ROYALE

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. How do I know you can provide me with an exotic car where and when I want it?

A. Exotic cars are readily available in major cities. If you want the car delivered to a remote location, there are additional charges for delivery, which are based upon the actual costs involved in getting it there.

Q. I am taking a golf vacation with friends and want access to a yacht, air travel and ground transportation. What accommodations can you offer?

A. Your personal concierge (PC) can arrange jet travel to and from the resort and make reservations for tee times and villa rentals. The PC will also arrange for ground transportation, limousines and other forms of entertainment that you choose.

Q. Why are points used to calculate charges?

A. It’s an easy way to keep track of expenditures and member balances. Members are sent monthly statements, showing how and where points were used. Statements also show dollars deposited and withdrawn.

Q. Why the $100,000 deposit? And, how secure is it?

A. The Club is not for everyone. It is for the affluent traveler who demands the best of everything. The deposit of $100,000 is the Club’s assurance that the member has the wherewithal to access the Club’s many resources. The deposit is 100% secured and can be refunded at any time the member wishes to close the account. Money is only withdrawn from a member’s account when it is actually spent on services.

Q. How does the Club make money? And, how is it distributed?

A. The Club marks-up actual costs from 10% to 15%, depending on the medium used. Resorts, hotels and some rental agencies discount their services by 10% or 15%, which is profit for the Club. Profits are used to pay salaries of Club staff. When excess profits are available, the Club invests in purchasing additional exotic cars and jets.

Q. Does the Club own all of the cars, yachts and aircraft featured on its website?

A. No. That would require a staggering investment in hundreds of millions of dollars. The Club owns a small percentage of the vehicles and aircraft shown and partners with other providers for resources featured.

Q. What is the Club’s track record?

A. The Club is a new endeavor and does not have a track record as such. Management believes that the concept will prove successful, but there are no guarantees that it will be. The principals, however, are experienced in the luxury travel field – each with his or her area of expertise. The Club member’s personal concierge is the coordinator who marshals the Club’s resources to provide members with service and attention to details.

Q. How do the Club’s listed prices for services compare with other individual providers’ prices?

A. Comparing the Club’s prices (in points) with other providers clearly demonstrates that the Club’s prices are equal to or less than the majority of private jet travel, yacht and exotic car rentals posted on their respective web sites.

Q. What are the primary benefits of membership?

A. Membership is like having a personal assistant that meticulously arranges virtually every detail for your travel, business meetings and excursions to anywhere in the world. Each member is assigned a personal concierge that makes reservations, schedules jet travel, exotic car rentals and almost everything else associated with your trip.

Once your concierge learns your personal preferences, a simple phone call sets the trip in motion with all of the embellishments you choose. Best of all, you’re only paying for what you actually use in points, which is usually less than it would cost if you made all the reservations yourself.

Q. Can I always be assured that a particular make and type of exotic car will be delivered or picked up in a city of my choosing?

A. Sometimes, but not always. Your concierge will do his or her best to fulfill your requests, but occasionally a hard-to-rent exotic car may only be available in one or two locations. When this occurs, you will be given the availabilities of comparable vehicles in your preferred location.

Q. What experience has the Club had with private jet travel?

A. The Club partners with Continental Executive Jet, LLC, which meets or exceeds all FAA requirements. Shiny new and impeccably maintained aircraft are readily available in light, medium and heavy jets. Crews are professionally trained and qualified with extensive experience in the aircraft you choose.

Q. How much are the Club’s annual dues and why do I have to pay them?

A. Annual dues are based upon usage and range from $15,000 to $20,000 per year per member. A prospective member estimates the number of trips he or she will take in a year and dues are charged accordingly.

The Club maintains a highly skilled and trained service staff, which includes your personal concierge. Dues contribute to paying staff salaries.

Q. Are the Club’s staff paid commission on services they arrange for members?

A. No. All are salaried employees of Club Royale. Bonuses will occasionally be paid when and if a staff member makes a significant contribution to the Club or is commended by a member for outstanding service.

Q. If I want to cruise the Caribbean in a luxury motor yacht do I have to be certified?

A. If you’re an experienced yachtsman and can demonstrate these skills to a staff member, you can rent yachts under 50’ by yourself. For larger craft, a licensed Captain is required.

Q. Can I let a customer or family member use some or all of my points without my being there?

A. Yes. One of the advantages of membership is flexibility. Your concierge will make all the appropriate arrangements and schedule the trip once you have given your permission for us to do so

Q. If after a few months I decide that the Club’s not for me, can I get my deposit back?

A. All funds remaining in your account at the hour of your resignation will be returned within 24 hours. There are no penalties or hidden charges. This does not, however, apply to annual dues paid, which are non-refundable as stated in your membership agreement.

Q. Does membership jeopardize my privacy?

A. Absolutely not. The Club will never publish member names, nor will it release any information regarding any member to any third party. There is no Club identification on any of our jets, yachts or cars. There is no indication that the resource being used is not the property of the member using it.

Q. When I travel to Europe, will the Club’s resources be available to me there?

A. For the most part, yes. If we’re arranging your travel to Italy, for example, your selection of a Ferrari or Lamborghini would be easier to arrange than a Lincoln Navigator. In all cases, however, your concierge would give you options and choices.

Q. Who keeps track of Club points and how are they reported?

A. Each member receives a monthly account statement, which contains an accurate itemization of all points used, by whom and for what with dollar equivalents. In the very unlikely event that charges were made in error, your concierge will compare her records with those in accounting and correct the oversight if required.
